6 months and I came to find this thread. I want to join Keith, since Macrowin won't do the same operation as recorded. This snapshot is a part of my desktop, and I just recorded my mouse action to move the file 'wp91.....' to the right at X977,Y370 dots (as recorded). This script does nothing if I save and replay.
My guess is 'drag and drop' may be ignored by the 'FIle Explorer' progaram
if the mouse moves too quickly. In this case, WAIT means nothing because the mouse moves superfast right after the10ms which won't happen in human operation. But this might be wrong.
Are you specifically talking about moving files/folders? If that's the case, you can use Action -> File or Action -> Directory. You should be able to move files/folders from there without having to drag and drop.
Is this what you wanted? If not, can you give me another use case so I can better understand your need?
Ah yes! I have looked into that option as well - and yes, I am utilizing that method for some macros... My example was just trying to keep it simple.
A real case scenario is that I want to be able to automate the cropping of multiple screen capture images (that I have MacroWin capture for me daily) and then I want to automate the uploading of those images to one of those digital frames I have in my office, again daily.
Now, I can achieve the cropping of the images a number of ways (I think there is even a way to record a script or a macro in photoshop itself) but since I want the whole process to be triggered by MacroWin I figure I could have MacroWin do the cropping as well. Now, I can achieve this with the above 5 actions method but I have 11 images daily, each with their own unique dimensions, and of course all with 4 sides that I will need to set the crop positions for. That's 220 actions just to achieve the crops - there will be near another 200 more to include for the okays, file saves, and all the in between bits. And that is fine - I can do that some day when I have the time. But the length of the Macro is going to be massive! Another example is that I have a soundboard where I have to adjust the volume levels on my PC.
It's awesome, but it does not allow me to save any level profiles or toggle to any kind of presets. What I want to do is push a button and have it automatically adjust the levels and click the right buttons for me to record a voiceover. Click another button to set it back to normal. And another for when I need to go into a meeting. I haven't gotten around to how I'll be able to achieve this, and I'm not even sure how realistic or time-consuming it would be for me to achieve. I've only just this week found and purchased MacroWin and my mind is exploding with all of the amazing possibilities! But if I do ever get around to taking a stab at it, I know these faders only move by clicking, holding, and dragging them up/down. I cannot just click to a level or type in a decibel level - I must drag. Therefore I will need to achieve this kind of automation using the 5 actions for each and every one. If MacroWin can achieve a way to have this type of drag-and-drop all in one action, at least that part of this idea will be much easier!

Sorry for the late reply.
Regarding your first challenge, you can use the screenshot action, however the second is a bit more challenging than that.
Would you be keen to chat on Discord?
Hi Keith!
Can you explain what exactly you mean?
Give enough detail and also provide an example (use case).
